windows 10 mail is the slowest and buggiest mail client i've ever used. meanwhile all the apps they push are complete garbage compared to the competition. why tf do i need xbox gaming bar when i have never owned an xbox and never plan on owning an xbox. microsoft can suck my ass shoving their shitty apps down everyone's throats, just like how windows 10 comes with so much crap bloatware such as xbox gaming bar, bing maps, microsoft edge, forcing bing search in windows search, etc. It has been microsoft's goal to kill java edition from the moment they acquired mojang so they can push their shitty microtransactions on the bedrock edition, first by bundling minecraft with windows 10 for free, then the EULA. But we'll always have the memories we make with those along the way. Though, it's not the same, and I don't think it ever will be. Defo gonna be rough.īut hey, Hive will still be on bedrock. It makes me wonder how I'll react when this server eventually shuts its doors. This really is a bittersweet feeling, knowing that the end is near. I was never a staple in their community like I became here when I applied and was accepted as a staff member, but I did play on there numerous times since my dad bought me the game back in 2012. The landscape has changed immensely - and if HiveMC shutting its java edition doors doesn't show this, then I don't know what will. But it isn't in the place it once was in a time's past. And I think that's true, the game as a genre and as a brand is not dead, nor is it dying. I know I posted a thread with a differing opinion that minecraft is not dead. I think this goes to show that times are changing.

The bedrock server is still very active and usually has like 40000 players every day 6 level 1 I personally have many memories playing on this server, games like The Herobrine being a very fond one back when players could only join through specific ips, and others such as Trouble in Mineville, Cowboys and Indians, even their survival games. ago In short what happened was hive java wasnt making very much profit so they closed its doors. This is crazy because, some newer players may not know this but Hive has been a staple in the MC community since practically the explosion of it on Youtube with content creators like SkyDoesMinecraft among others. It appears that the Hive, once a top-tier MC server, is shutting its doors on the java edition side of things. I'm not entirely sure if this is the right forum or place to post this, or even if this is an appropriate topic to bring up since it's all about a seperate server, but I stumbled upon this news while browsing YT today.
